How the course can develop

This example shows one possible progression. The order and depth change with the group and contract.

  1. 01Establish handwashing, kitchen safety, and safe tool use
  2. 02Explore flavor, color, and presentation through assembled snacks
  3. 03Practice measuring, mixing, and following a recipe
  4. 04Connect ingredients to food groups and balanced meals
  5. 05Develop more personalized flavor and presentation choices
  6. 06Prepare and share a festive final menu

How we adapt it

Adapted for age, experience, and schedule.

Younger students work with pre-cut ingredients, guided assembly, and simple measuring; older students can make more detailed choices about flavor, nutrition, and presentation. Beginners follow visual, step-by-step recipes, while experienced students personalize combinations and plating. Short formats prepare selected dishes; longer programs develop a broader progression of kitchen skills and recipes.
