Course description
What students make and do
Students learn basic jewelry-making techniques while developing patience, fine-motor control, and a personal design style. They work with beads, wire, chain, color, pattern, and texture to create pieces they can wear or give away. Projects are adapted to student age and dexterity.

How we adapt it
Adapted for age, experience, and schedule.
Younger students focus on bead selection, patterns, and basic stringing; older students can add wirework, chain assembly, and mixed-media techniques. Beginners make guided individual pieces, while experienced students plan more intricate designs and coordinated sets. Short formats produce one or two finished pieces; longer programs build a collection and showcase.
