Explore generative AI by making images, stories, voices, and simple chatbots.
Grades 1–6The project mix and pace are tailored to the age group, experience level, and time available.

Course description
Students try several generative AI tools and learn how the instructions they provide affect the result. They create images, stories, character voices, and simple chatbot experiences using tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Stable Diffusion, DALL-E, and NovelAI. Projects focus on clear prompts, creative iteration, and comparing different outputs.
Sample program path
This example shows one possible progression. The order and depth change with the group and contract.
How we adapt it
Younger students use guided prompts and compare simple outputs; older students can develop multi-step prompts and combined-media projects. Beginners learn by changing one prompt element at a time, while experienced students plan more complex stories, characters, and chatbots. Short formats sample one or two tools; longer programs build toward a mixed-media showcase.
Program logistics
Device, platform-account, storage, and other site responsibilities are confirmed during planning when they apply.
