Course description
What students make and do
Students learn that a convincing magic trick combines careful practice with timing, attention, and presentation. They work with coins, cards, scarves, rope, and everyday objects while learning age-appropriate techniques for misdirection and showmanship. The course builds toward short performances students can share.
- Perform a coin vanish and reappearance
- Learn a simple card effect
- Practice scarf and rope illusions
- Master a disappearing-handkerchief trick
- Create a floating-pencil illusion and final routine

How we adapt it
Adapted for age, experience, and schedule.
Younger students learn simpler effects through closely guided practice; older students can refine timing, sleight of hand, and routine structure. Beginners master one trick at a time, while experienced students combine effects and strengthen presentation. Short formats teach a small set of complete tricks; longer programs build showmanship and a rehearsed routine.
