Course description
What students make and do
Using Soundtrap, students learn how contemporary music is assembled. They work with rhythm, scales, drum patterns, samples, live recording, songwriting, arrangement, and mixing. No previous music experience is required, and students finish with a composition they can share.

- Build an original melody using major or minor scales
- Program drum patterns and harmonic accompaniment
- Record and manipulate original sounds

How we adapt it
Adapted for age, experience, and schedule.
Younger students can arrange loops and build short melodies; older students can work more deeply with scales, chords, keys, recording, and mixing. Beginners start from demonstrations and remixable material, while experienced musicians develop more original arrangements. Short formats produce a beat or remix; longer programs support a complete composition or audio project.
